The leader of the Musavat party Arif Hajili, detained on the morning of November 12, was released on the evening of the same day.
According to Hajili himself, in the morning on the way to the party’s office, his car was blocked by traffic police cars.
“Police officers and people in civilian clothes, having approached, said that I could not go to the Musavat office. I protested, saying that I would walk to the party’s headquarters, and from there I would go to the picket.
After that, the police said that I should follow them to the 18th police station.
They kept me there for several hours, and in the evening they released me,” said the Hajili.
