U.S. Ambassador discusses human rights situation with lawyers

[:en]On August 20, the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger met with lawyers Elchin Sadigov and Agil Laidjev.

Elchin Sadigov told Turan that the meeting lasted an hour and a half, during which the situation with human rights in Azerbaijan, the situation of lawyers, the state and protection of the rights of those arrested after the demonstration on July 14-15 were discussed.

The US Embassy does not publish information about this meeting.
