As soon as the authorities came to their senses after a Sunday rally of opposition candidates and opposition activists against falsification of election results, a new crowd gathered on Monday before the CEC demanding to annul the election results.
The candidates for deputies Khalid Bagirov, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Nurlana Jalil and others again came to the CEC building, demanding to answer their complaints about falsifications.
“Mazahir Panahov, remove the plugs from your ears and hear our demands, answer our complaints!” – shouted the candidate Khalid Bagirov, standing in front of the passage to the CEC building.
The staff of the Rapid Response Police Regiment quickly approached the place and urged the audience to disperse. Meanwhile, the number of protesters is growing; numerous journalists are approaching the site.
At 16 o’clock the next meeting of the CEC began, which should consider the complaints.
